Officers from the Jalilabad District Police Department conducted an operation to combat drug trafficking. According to Oxu.Az, the press service of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) released this information.
During the operation, previously convicted individuals Ruslan Guliyev, 35, and Tural Hajiyev, 36, were detained. A total of 18 kg of marijuana and methamphetamine were found and seized from them.
A criminal case has been opened. The detainees have been remanded in custody, and the investigation is ongoing.
