Followers of banned religious sect detained in Azerbaijan

The police have detained nine people suspected of promoting a banned religious sect in the country’s Guba district, the Interior Ministry told APA on July 7, 2016.

A protocol was drawn up with respect to the detainees under relevant articles of the Code of Administrative Offences, and they were released after giving written explanations.
