Drugs were found on the border with Iran, haqqin.az reported with reference to the press center of the State Border Service of the country.
As a result of the operational-search activities carried out by the servicemen of the Goytepe border detachment of the State Border Guard Troops, on February 7, 2022, a bundle was found in the service area of the frontier post near the village of Arus, Yardimli district, in the border strip. When checking the contents of the bundle, 12 kg of drugs were found and seized (10 kg of 70 g of heroin, 1 kg of 25 g of methamphetamine).
