The petition to change the measure of restraint in the form of arrest, chosen against the assistant to the head of the Executive Power Vahid Isayev and the representative of the head of the Goychay district executive power Rashad Shukurov, was considered, APA reports.
The Binagadi District Court recognized the lawyers’ petitions as justified. By a court decision, the measure of restraint in the form of arrest, chosen in relation to V. Isaev and R. Shukyurov, was replaced by house arrest.
The investigation into the case is ongoing.
The officials were detained by the General Department for Combating Corruption under the Prosecutor General. Vahid Isayev and Rashad Shukurov are accused of violating the law in the Executive Office of the Goychay region.
