Drug traffickers detained in one of the districts of Baku

45 drug dealers were detained by the police department of the Yasamal district as a result of operational-search activities carried out in May, 2022. Of these, 40 people were arrested, according to the Internet news portal minval.az, citing the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan.

Thus, 30 kilograms 500 grams of drugs were seized from illegal circulation: heroin, marijuana, opium, psychotropic substance methamphetamine.

During the investigation, it turned out that three of the detainees organized a drug den in their homes in the territory of the specified area. The work to identify those who distribute drugs continues.
