The prosecutor requested 13 years in prison for the former head of the Jalilabad Executive Power

The trial on the criminal case of the former head of the Jalilabad Region Executive Power Namig Zeynalov is coming to an end, APA reports.

At today’s trial chaired by Judge Hammed Nuriyev in the Lankaran Court for Grave Crimes, the public prosecutor spoke.

The prosecutor demanded that N. Zeynalov be found guilty of the charge brought against him and sentenced to 13 years in prison to be served in an ordinary-regime colony.

The defendant’s lawyers asked for time to prepare for their speech.

The court gave them time to prepare for their speech until June 10, 2022.
