A group of veterans visited the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection

A group of veterans of the Patriotic War visited the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, the internet news portal report.az reports.

They were received by Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection Anar Aliyev. At the meeting, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Anar Aliyev noted that, on the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, the implementation of a package of social support for martyr families and war veterans continues. He noted that this package of social support has already covered 100,000 people, they have received 175,000 services. Of these, 93 thousand people received 103 thousand social payments. Of the veterans whose treatment period has ended, 3,000 people have already received disability and social benefits. 3,500 families of martyrs and war invalids were provided with housing.

By order of December 29, 2021, veterans who have been awarded the title of “Veteran of War” are assigned a monthly presidential pension.

It was emphasized that social support measures related to martyr families and veterans would continue in the future.
