Armenian criminal Vagif Khachatryan was sentenced to 15 years in prison

The court session on the criminal case of Khachatryan Vagif Cherkezovich, who was accused of committing genocide in Meshali village of Khojaly district as part of illegal Armenian armed groups, has ended, APA reports.

The verdict was read in the proceedings chaired by the chairman of the Baku Military Court, Zeynal Aghayev.

According to the judgement, Vagif Khachatryan was sentenced to 15 years in prison. The judgement stated that Vagif Khachatryan should spend the first 5 years of his sentence in prison, and the rest in a strict regime penitentiary.
