The number of weapons voluntarily surrendered by citizens has been announced

Police officers continue preventive measures to attract citizens to voluntarily surrender illegally stored firearms. As Report was informed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as part of the measures taken, on November 30, citizens in Baku and the regions voluntarily handed over 1 machine gun, 3 grenades, 3 ammunition magazines, 465 cartridges of various calibers and 51 hunting rifles to police officers.

In addition, during the operational activities, police officers discovered and seized 1 machine gun, 1 pistol, 2 ammunition magazines, 4 hunting rifles, 30 cartridges of various calibers.
