The court issued a verdict in the 374,000 manat fraud case.

The Baku Court of Grave Crimes has concluded the criminal trial of Mirsanan Mursalizade, accused of fraudulently appropriating funds by breaching the trust of citizens, Oxu.Az reports. At the trial, presided over by Judge Azer Taghiyev, the verdict was announced, according to which Mirsanan Mursalizade was sentenced to six years and six months in prison.

The investigation and the court established that the accused embezzled 374,000 manat under the pretext of investing in business and various projects. He was found guilty under Article 178.3.2 (fraud committed with the infliction of significant damage) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

It is noted that Mirsanan Mursalizade partially compensated for the damages, and some of the victims withdrew their claims.
