Police detained the thieves of 17 mobile phones

A theft was committed in the Nizami district of Baku, Oxu.Az reports, citing the Ministry of Internal Affairs. On the night of December 31-January 1, unknown individuals broke down the door of a store, entered, and stole 17 mobile phones of various brands, as well as e-cigarettes.

The owner of the store reported the incident to the police. Following an investigation by officers from the 24th Precinct of the Nizami District Police Department, Aykhan Balakishiyev and Asif Bayramov were detained on suspicion of the theft.

It was established that before entering the store, the thieves cut the power cable to avoid being captured by CCTV cameras. Despite this, their actions were recorded.

An investigation is underway.
