Police in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic have detained a suspect in cyber fraud committed under the guise of loan applications. According to the Nakhchivan bureau of Report, 21-year-old Elnara Bunyatova was detained as a result of operational and technical measures.
According to investigators, she posed as a bank and CyberChere employee through various phone numbers, as well as the TikTok accounts azturan83, turanbank_az, azeturanbank, and krediagro, and the phone numbers 070-767-56-96, 077-351-95-76, 070-935-75-65, 077-104-44-08, and 077-349-96-82, promising to provide loans to citizens. The suspect thus defrauded approximately 50 people and stole their funds.
An investigation is underway.
