Detained for theft

Construction materials, a combined boiler, and auto parts worth 40,000 manat were stolen from a house in the Absheron district, Oxu.Az reports, citing the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

As a result of operations conducted by officers of the Absheron District Police Department, a suspect in the theft, 38-year-old R. Makhmudov, previously convicted of theft and drug-related offenses, was detained. It was learned that he sold some of the stolen property.

An investigation is underway.
