The Main Department of Traffic Police publicized the statistics of the traffic accidents happened for the last six months of current year in Azerbaijan, APA reports.
According to information, for the last six months 905 traffic accidents happened in a country, as result 304 men died, 970 men wounded. In comparison with the same period of 2015, the number of traffic accidents reduced in 140 cases (13.4%), number of dead – 103 (25.3%), victims – 147 (13.2%).
In Baku there were registered 323 traffic accidents, as result 73 men were died, 342 were injured. In comparison with the same period of 2015, the number of traffic accidents in Baku reduced on 69 cases (17.6%), number of dead – 45 (38.1%), and victims – 72 (17.4%).
