According to APA with reference to a lawyer J. Javadli, the measure of restraint in respect of N. Jafarli has been changed. This decision was made by investigative body on 10 September 2016. According to the decision, he was written undertaking not to leave Baku. All charges are remained in force.
Earlier, on 12 August 2016, N. Jafarli was summoned to the Department on investigation of grave crimes of the General Prosecutor’s office, and then he was delivered to the Nasimi District Court and with decision of the court he had been arrested for 4 months.
N. Jafarli is accused under article 192 (illegal entrepreneurship) and article 308 (abuse of official duties) of the Criminal Code.
