The Baku Court of Grave Crimes on October 19, 2016 resumed the trial of Taleh Baghirov, Fuad Gahramanli and others.
At the hearing presided over by judge Alovsat Abbasov, defendant Abbas Huseynov, imprisoned Rasim Bunyatov and Abulfaz Bunyatov. Then imprisoned Urfan Nabizade testified as a witness.
Lawyer Yalchin Imanov said that the injured Bahruz Guliyev, Shamil Abdulaliyev and others were taken to the hospital by the township residents, and presented a photo related to the fact to the court. He asked the court to add the photo to the case materials. The court sustained the motion.
Lawyer Fariz Namazli asked the court to terminate the police officers’ status of ‘aggrieved persons’.
The court rejected the petition. It stated that it is not right to pass a decision in this regard in the current stage. The judge mentioned that a motion can be filed again upon investigation of all documents.
The process will be held on October 21, 2016.
