In 2016 bodies of the Prosecutor’s office together employees of the MIA and SSS disclosed 172 cases of 178 intentional murders. There were detected 64 crimes in hot pursuit that provided 96.6% of crimes’ detection rate (in 2015 – 95.5%).

This was said in the board meeting held by the General Prosecutor’s office, APA reports.

It was noted that conducting of necessary measures for detecting of intentional homicides and attempts on murder and discovering persons committed them to bring to responsibility is remained in the spotlight.
