The Ministry of Internal Affairs spread information about a false report “about a bomb planted” in the Metro Park shopping center, haqqin.az reports.
So, on June 11, 2017 at 11:42 am an unknown person, having called from a mobile phone in the Center of calls of the Ministry of Internal Affairs 102, informed on the bomb laid in shopping center Metro Park in Narimanov District.
Immediately the necessary measures were taken, but the information was not confirmed.
As a result of the operational-search activities carried out by the employees of the Narimanov District Police Department, the person who reported the false information was detained.
A criminal case was initiated under Article 216 (a knowingly false report on an act of terrorism) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
