In Baku, people who committed a series of robberies were detained, APA reports quoting the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Thus, as a result of operational search operations conducted by the police department no. 13 of the Sabunchu District Police Department, the circumstances of the robberies committed in different times in 7 private houses in Bakikhanov settlement and detained the suspected persons – Amir Nasirov, a resident of the Astara region, and Rasail Bashirov, a resident of the Jalilabad district, and Gafur Guliyev and Elmar Nazarov, the residents of Baku.
During the investigation it was found out that members of the group stole from the homes mainly the money and gold jewelry. The last time they took a safe with 1200 euros, 200 US dollars and gold ornaments worth 40,000 manats from a house in Bakikhanov settlement.
Members of the group had sold stolen goods to various points of reception of gold items in Baku, and then shared the money.
On the facts in the investigation department of the Sabunchu DPD, a criminal case has been initiated in accordance with the relevant articles of the Criminal Code, and the operational and investigative measures continue.
