Baku Court of Grave Crimes continued on 6 December 2016 the trial of theologian Elshan Mustafaoglu, an ex-employee of the Caucasian Muslims Office (CMO), who was arrested in 2014 on treason charges. During the hearing, a state prosecutor asked for a 12-year jail term for the accused. The trial will proceed on December 13, 2016.
