A theft occurred at a store in the town of Khudat in the Khachmaz district, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Elman Imanov and Elchin Maharramov have been detained on suspicion of robbery.

They were found to have stolen 14 televisions, three laptops, and three air conditioners from the store, totaling 23,000 manats.

According to reports, one of the detainees was previously an employee of the store.

A criminal case has been opened, and a court has ordered the pretrial detention of E. Imanov and E. Maharramov.

In 2025, 198 human trafficking-related crimes were registered. According to Oxu.Az, this issue was reflected in the annual report of the national coordinator for combating human trafficking.

It is noted that 152 of the crimes involved sexual exploitation, and 45 involved illegal document handling for the purpose of human trafficking.
