The daughter of Hamlet Musayev, former deputy head of the Forensic Center of the Ministry of Justice of Azerbaijan, accused of fraud involving over half a million manats, has been released from custody.
According to Oxu.Az, citing Qafqazinfo, this decision was made after M. Musayeva reached a settlement with the victim, U. Guliyeva. The accused agreed to repay 610,000 manats in stages.
Due to the agreement, investigative authorities deemed further detention unnecessary. Musayeva was released from the pretrial detention facility under police supervision.
It is noted that several months ago, M. Musayeva was arrested on charges of large-scale fraud. This charge carries a sentence of up to 14 years in prison.
