Sabail District Court has chosen a preventive measure in the form of arrest for Azerbaijani citizen Sharifov Kanan Urfan oglu. As reported by APA, K. Sharifov was detained in a criminal case initiated by the State Security Service (SSS) of Azerbaijan based on an appeal from the State Housing Development Agency (MİDA).
He, along with other persons, is suspected of producing and using forged documents on behalf of the Agency. K. Sharifov sent them to various addresses, including banks, thereby embezzling large sums of money from citizens.
