Efforts to return funds from agricultural exports to Azerbaijan are ongoing. As reported by APA, the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office disseminated this information.
It is reported that based on information received from the State Customs Committee that some business entities exporting various types of products to foreign countries have not returned funds in the relevant currency to the Republic of Azerbaijan, criminal cases have been initiated in the prosecutor’s office and a preliminary investigation is underway.
As a result of investigative measures carried out on criminal cases investigated in the prosecutor’s offices of the Khazar, Yasamal and Khatai districts of Baku, more than $53.3 million (more than 90.6 million manats at the exchange rate of the corresponding period) received from the export of agricultural products to foreign countries were returned to accounts in authorized banks.
