A criminal case under Article 314.3 of the Criminal Code (negligence resulting in the death of two or more people) was opened by the Sabunchu district prosecutor’s office on February 22-23, APA reports citing the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
It was established that the death of these individuals was caused by poisoning with ethyl (technical) alcohol they consumed. The prosecutor’s office, with the participation of a forensic expert and a forensic medical expert, examined the sites and bodies of the deceased, seized material evidence, including empty bottles of hygiene products containing 75% and 95% alcohol, prohibited for internal use, food remains, etc.
The necessary investigative actions were carried out, and the appropriate examinations were ordered.
