Court judgement against drug dealer

The final court hearing on the criminal case of Mohyaddin Orujov, a member of the Confederation of Trade Unions “Workers’ Table”, was held in the Baku Court of Grave Crimes, oxu.az reports. According to the verdict, M. Orujov was sentenced to 3 years in prison. The state prosecutor demanded 7 years in prison for the defendant.

Mohyaddin Orujov was detained on December 13, 2023. He was charged under Article 234.4.3 (illegal manufacture, production, acquisition, storage, transportation, transfer or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their precursors, committed in large quantities) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
