Lawyer arrested

Lawyer Adem Mammadov has been arrested. As reported by APA, the decision was made by the Narimanov District Court.

According to lawyer Asim Abbasov, Adem Mammadov was found guilty under Articles 147 (slander) and 148 (insult) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan and was deprived of liberty for 6 months.

In addition, the court also issued a decision regarding his brother Khayyam Mammadov. The court sentenced him to 6 months of community service.
