SSS ​​detains and delivers man accused of terrorism to Azerbaijan

The State Security Service (SSS) detained and delivered a man accused of terrorism to Azerbaijan.

As Report informs, a court hearing was held in the Sabail District Court of Baku to consider a petition to choose a preventive measure in the form of arrest for Azerbaijani citizen Ruslan Rafig oglu Nadjimov, detained in a criminal case being investigated by the SGB.

During the investigation, it was established that Azerbaijani citizen Ruslan Nadjimov, born in 1987, suspected of committing terrorist crimes as part of an armed group, was hiding in a foreign country under various names.

As a result of complex operational and investigative measures by the SGB, Nadjimov was detained abroad and delivered to Azerbaijan on April 15.

The court’s decision was to remand R. Nadzhimov into custody for a period of 4 months.
