Drug smuggling by drone from Iran prevented

Azerbaijani border guards prevented an attempt to smuggle drugs from Iran using an unmanned drone, Report informs citing the State Border Service. The incident occurred on April 21 in the territory of responsibility of the Lankaran border detachment.

As a result of operational activities, 6.6 kg of marijuana dropped by a drone were found in the border zone.

Investigative actions are ongoing on the fact.
