The trial of a woman accused of fraud completed

The trial of Tanzila Kerimova, accused of fraud, has ended in the Baku Court of Grave Crimes. As reported by Oxu.Az, at the trial chaired by Judge Eldar Ismailov, the verdict was read out, according to which T. Kerimova was sentenced to 10 years in prison. The woman was arrested in the courtroom.

It is noted that Tanzila Kerimova created 11 WhatsApp groups. Through these groups, she abused people’s trust and fraudulently seized more than 1.2 million manats. There are 81 victims in the criminal case.

Tanzila Kerimova has been charged under Article 178.4 (fraud committed with causing particularly large damage) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
