Gang members who committed thefts in rented cars detained

The Sheki city and district police department received information about a series of thefts in the villages of Dashbulag, Dashyuz, Shorsu and 4 other villages of the district. As reported by Oxu.Az, this was reported by the regional group of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan.
Unknown persons broke into the barns at night and stole 26 heads of cattle worth about 30,000 manats.
As a result of operational activities carried out by police officers, Taleh Novruzov, Shukur Mustafayev, Jahid Israfilov and Vagif Nuriyev, who committed the crimes, were detained. They reported that over the past 9 months they had traveled from Baku to Sheki in rented cars several times and committed thefts here. During the investigation, it was established that the gang members sold the stolen animals in Barda, Agdash, Goychay and the city of Baku.
A criminal case was opened on this fact, and the court decided to impose a preventive measure in the form of arrest on each of the detainees.
