The police of the Khazar district detained two fraudsters who defrauded citizens of over 51 thousand manats through social networks. As the Ministry of Internal Affairs told Report, the victims of 17-year-old I. Mammadov and 33-year-old V. Bagirov were gullible citizens, to whom the criminals promised a high return on investment.
In total, the criminals appropriated 51,743 manats. A criminal case has been opened on the fact of fraud. The investigation is ongoing.
Law enforcement officers urge citizens to be vigilant and not to trust tempting offers of easy money on the Internet.
