Court verdict against former chairperson of the Shirvan branch of the Red Crescent Society

The trial of another criminal case against the former chairperson of the Shirvan branch of the Red Crescent Society Ulviya Balayeva, accused of fraud and currently in prison, has ended in the Gadabay District Court.

As reported by Oxu.Az, the verdict was read out at the trial chaired by Judge Fuzuli Mirzaguliyev. Taking into account the previous punishment, the accused was sentenced to 4 years and 6 months in prison.

U. Balayeva, together with I. Aliyev, committed a series of frauds against 32 people, promising citizens to get them jobs in the Ministry of Emergency Situations, receive apartments from social housing, and receive social assistance and pensions.
