Over 30,000 manats stolen from citizens’ bank cards in one day

Cyber scammers stole over 30,000 manats from Azerbaijani citizens’ bank cards in one day, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to the department, on May 7, amounts ranging from 8 to 12,082 manats were stolen from citizens’ cards. The scammers used various methods to gain access to the funds.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs reminded that CVV/CVC codes, OTP passwords, logins, passwords and PIN codes are confidential data that cannot be transferred to third parties.
