Ministry of Internal Affairs: Do not share the CVV/CVC code on your bank card with anyone

The CVV/CVC codes on your bank card, as well as the OTP codes sent via SMS, are confidential information. If you provide this information to unknown persons, the funds in your account will be at risk, and if there is no money, the attackers can take out a loan in your name, AZERTAC reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Thus, on May 15, 3200, 3118, 999, 908, 800, 700, 441, 393, 361, 258, 254, 150, 112, 83 and 50 manats were stolen from the bank cards of individual citizens using various cyber methods.
The Ministry once again recommends being careful when receiving suspicious calls with offers of attractive profits, insurance, visa procedures, consolidation of bank accounts and income payments. You should not engage in conversations or correspondence with senders from unknown numbers; it is better to block them immediately.
