Over 20,000 manats stolen from Azerbaijani citizens’ bank cards in the past 24 hours

Over the past 24 hours, cybercriminals stole over 20,000 manats from Azerbaijani citizens’ bank cards, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

On May 15, as a result of various cyber methods, amounts ranging from 80 to 7,200 manats were stolen from citizens’ cards.

The department urged citizens to be wary of suspicious calls and offers of “profitable” investments, insurance, employment abroad and other transactions allegedly related to the security of bank accounts.
