The Gusar District Court has completed the investigation into the criminal case of G.G., accused of embezzlement of funds, Oxu.Az reports. The verdict was announced at a hearing chaired by Judge Ali Jalilov. The court sentenced the accused to one year of restriction of freedom (electronic bracelet).
According to the indictment, G.G. worked as a treasurer of the financial reporting department of the Gusar Central District Hospital (CRH). In 2023, he embezzled funds from the CRH in the amount of 20,045.82 manats.
During the investigation, G.G. sincerely confessed to the crime he had committed. He stated that he had returned the embezzled money to the hospital and repents of his actions.
