A series of operations by the Ministry of Internal Affairs: 75 kg of drugs seized from circulation

Employees of the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) conducted a series of operations in the capital and regions against individuals involved in illegal drug trafficking. This was reported by Oxu.Az with reference to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

About 75 kg of marijuana enriched with psychotropic substances, heroin and methamphetamine were seized from them.

Criminal cases have been opened on the basis of these facts under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code. The arrest has been chosen as a preventive measure against the detainees. Investigative and operational measures are ongoing to identify and bring to criminal responsibility other members of the drug network, which included the detainees.
