Another person found guilty in Defense Ministry corruption case worth 143 million manat

The trial of another officer accused of involvement in a large-scale embezzlement of funds in the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry in the amount of 143 million manat has ended in Baku. As reported by Oxu.Az, the Baku Military Court, chaired by Judge Fikret Aliyev, sentenced former head of the financial service of the N military unit, Captain Vahid Novruzlu, to 11 years in prison.

V. Novruzlu was brought to criminal responsibility as part of an investigation conducted by the State Security Service (SSS).
