Trial of ISIS member detained by State Security Service while preparing terrorist attack on Baku synagogue held

Another trial was held in the criminal case of Abdulla Aliyev, accused of preparing terrorism in Azerbaijan. As reported by APA, today the indictment was read out at the Baku Court of Grave Crimes under the chairmanship of Judge Aygun Gurbanova.
Then the judge informed the accused that if the charges brought against him are proven, he could be sentenced to imprisonment for a term of 10 to 20 years or life imprisonment. The accused Abdulla Aliyev noted that he does not plead guilty in the criminal case.
The next court hearing is scheduled for July 14.
Abdulla Aliyev is charged under Art. 28, 214.2.1 (terrorism committed by a group of persons, an organized group or a criminal community (criminal organization) by prior conspiracy), 28, 214.2.3 (terrorism committed with the use of firearms and objects used as weapons) and other articles of the Criminal Code of the Azerbaijan Republic.
