A man wanted by the National Central Bureau of Interpol in Azerbaijan has been extradited to Azerbaijan. As reported to Oxu.Az by the Ministry of Justice, Azerbaijani citizen Farhad Bahruz oglu Iskandarov was found and arrested in the United Arab Emirates. He is accused of hooliganism committed by a group of persons by prior agreement with causing serious bodily harm (Article 221.2.1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan).
The Ministry of Justice sent a corresponding request to the UAE, and also held fruitful negotiations, as a result of which an agreement was reached on the extradition of F. Iskandarov to Azerbaijan. He was brought to Azerbaijan and placed in the Baku pre-trial detention center on the basis of a court decision on arrest.
