An attempt to smuggle a large consignment of drugs from Iran to Azerbaijan has been prevented, Report informs citing information from the State Border Service (SBS).
It is noted that as a result of search and operational activities carried out by the Lankaran border detachment of the Border Troops Command of the SBS, 9.376 kg of marijuana and 560 M-40 methadone tablets containing narcotic substances were found and seized on the territory.
