A violation of the state border from Iran to Azerbaijan was prevented in the territory of responsibility of the Goytepe border detachment of the Border Troops Command of the State Border Service (SBS). As reported by Oxu.Az, this was reported by the SBS.
According to the information, as a result of the border search and operational activities, drugs with a total weight of 75 kg 875 g (48 kg 875 g of marijuana, 17 kg of heroin, 8 kg of methamphetamine, 2 kg of opium) and 2,000 M-40 methadone tablets containing narcotic substances were discovered and seized.
