Trial of a person who committed fraud for a large sum

A trial has begun in the Baku Court of Grave Crimes on the criminal case against Novruz Askerov, who committed fraud for a large sum under the guise of selling state license plates for cars. As reported by Oxu.Az, at the trial chaired by Judge Azer Taghiyev, after the announcement of the completion of the trial, prosecutor Rauf Malyshov asked the court to sentence the defendant to 9 years in prison.

The relatives of the accused asked the court for time to compensate the victim for the damage.

The next hearing is scheduled for July 3.
