Police seized about 6 kg of drugs and 300 psychotropic tablets

The Nasimi District Police Department detained suspects in the sale of ecstasy tablets — previously convicted Murtaza Hasanov, Baba Jafarov and Gazanfar Ibrahimov. This was informed to Report by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to the information, about 6 kg of heroin, marijuana, methamphetamine were seized from Hasanov and Jafarov, 266 tablets of the psychotropic drug pregabalin, 37 tablets and about 200 grams of ecstasy in powder form were found from Gazanfar Ibrahimov.

They stated that they were involved in drug trafficking by Iranian citizens, whose identities are being established by the investigation, and planned to deliver drugs to different addresses.

Criminal cases have been opened on the facts, investigations are underway.

Operations to identify and bring to justice other members of the drug network, which included M. Hasanov, B. Jafarov and G. Ibrahimov, are ongoing.
