Sentence passed on person accused of treason

The trial of Bahruz Samedov, who is accused of treason, has ended in the criminal case initiated by the State Security Service (SSS). As reported by Oxu.Az, the verdict was read out at the trial in the Baku Court of Grave Crimes chaired by Judge Elnur Nuriyev, according to which he was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

It should be noted that Bahruz Samedov was detained on August 21, 2024, during operational and investigative measures carried out by the SSS. He is accused of collaborating with the special services of Armenia.

He is charged under Article 274 (treason) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
