Over 10,000 manats stolen from bank cards in Azerbaijan over the past 24 hours

Thefts from bank cards continue. As Report informs with reference to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, on June 23, 6000, 1200, 778, 693, 647, 650, 457, 370, 365, 241, 70 manats were stolen from citizens’ bank cards:

“Such crimes are usually committed through calls and SMS from unknown numbers, as well as through fake websites and platforms. In no case should you share personal information about your bank card, especially the card number, PIN code, CVV code and one-time confirmation (OTP) passwords with other people, including those who pose as employees of the bank or government agencies.”
