Drug smuggling from Iran to Azerbaijan prevented

An attempt to import a large consignment of drugs into the territory of Azerbaijan has been prevented, Oxu.Az reports with reference to the press center of the State Border Service (SBS). Thus, an attempt to violate the state border from Iran in the direction of Azerbaijan was prevented on the service territory of the Goradiz border detachment of the Border Troops Command of the SBS.

As a result of the border search and operational activities, marijuana with a total weight of 10 kg 700 g was found and confiscated on the service territory.
