Police seized about 40 kg of drugs

The police of Masalli district conducted another operation to combat drug trafficking, as a result of which almost 40 kg of marijuana was seized from illegal circulation, Report informs with reference to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

As part of the operation, Rustam Abdullaev (born in 1987) was detained with 39 kg of marijuana enriched with psychotropic substances.

The detainee stated that he received the drugs through an Iranian citizen, whose identity is being established by the investigation. He intended to sell the drugs to various addresses in the country.

A criminal case has been opened on the fact. The court has chosen a preventive measure in the form of arrest for Abdullaev.
