In the Shamkir region, as part of the comprehensive operational-search and preventive measures codenamed “Khashkhash-2025” carried out by police officers, wild plants containing narcotic substances were discovered, Oxu.Az reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan.
Thus, during the operation, 15,812 cannabis bushes with a total weight of 15 tons 750 kg were found. All discovered narcotic-containing plants were destroyed by burning.
